My Gut Pt. 1
October 11, 2016 I read this quote, well maybe it was more than a quote, I will just call it a thing. I read this thing on Facebook about loving someone and knowing whether or not they are the right person. It pretty much said there is no right person, there is no right time, there is just picking a person and loving them. It sounds simple, but it is not. Well, apparently the picking the person is simple. Falling in love is simple. For everyone else that is. For me, I can’t even get past the easy part to get to the real struggle. The scary part that causes divorce rates to go up, heartbreaks to occur, and bent people to break. I can’t seem to get to the hard part because I am stuck at the part that comes easily to everyone else. Everyone. People so opposed to the easy part, the falling part, they doubted the existence of love. People who construct relationship roles that require little to no commitment, communication, or even opportunity to fall in love. Those people, those people have fallen and I can’t even get close enough to the cliff to be in fear of being pushed.

War Born, War Sworn
Our mom had a way of shooting a person dead with her words. Like an automated gun, she could fire off insults with an effortless speed that needed no guided target. Her enemies' emotional being would be so riddled with holes; it wouldn't matter if any arteries were hit. The damage alone was death.
