I Feel Like My Lover Is a Stranger Looking Back At Me,
Tell Me If You Still Love Me,
Please Just Say Any Words,
I Can't Take This I'm Cracking Up,
By Crystal Korpan4 years ago in Poets
I thought I found the perfect gift for you,
For my very special friend,
I wrapped it up in a nice box too,
Just to show you what you did,
Do everyday people seem the same to you?
They look the same but are entirely different,
I call it "THE CHANGE,"
As adults, our bodies and minds get sucked out of us,
When you think about yourself, what comes to mind?
Are you kind?
Do you try in life?
Are you there enough for your family and friends?
February 8th marks the day my beautiful niece was born in this world,
She is turning 11 years old she is tall and so smart,
When I open up to you,
Are you even listening to me?
Or do you even care?
I tell you that I'm hurting inside,
I feel as if my heart and insides were ripped out,
Hard to run away from everyday life,
Picture what brings you peace of mind?
I can't wait to be out on the dock,
Where we went fishing on,
Silence fills the room,
No one makes a sound,
All is on edge,
The truth can be scary,
There is no room for secrets,
I don't know how it changed,
Conversations went away,
know one wants to talk anymore,
Its all about Facetime, Facebook, or Tweeting,
Feelings I wish with all my strength inside,
You would just go away and leave me behind,
I'm so tired of dealing with you in my life,
Growing up, I never wanted my parents to know they were right,
I fought tooth and nail about it,
Just to prove them wrong.
We both are so happy and excited,
We both love Halloween and
getting married on that day,
having it marked as our Anniversary,
