Craig Williams
Bio
I have always wanted to write, but I let myself be talked out of it for far too many years. Now, I am trying my hand at it again. If you see anything you like, a ❤️, a follow, or comment would let me know it's worth continuing.

Say Goodbye to TV
If you have ever become enthralled with a TV series, falling in love with the characters, or thrilling to the unfolding story week after week, there is a pretty good chance that at least once you have experienced the crushing disappointment of seeing the story end prematurely.

Dead Lake
1. Most people agreed that when little Jimmy Cutter died, the town of Stonefield died, too. Of course, it took some time before most of them realized it. Jimmy’s family had been part of the town since its inception and had been responsible for much of its wealth. Following the death of their only son, they moved out of state, taking their business with them. The town never recovered.

Survival
1. She stood out in the crowd. Nate’s eyes easily picked the young woman out from among those rushing to get home before curfew. He could see the humanness of her with his unique sight, but even to the others who scurried to and fro, she would appear out of place with her lack of visible augmentation. She even wore a mask to help her breathe the polluted city air, unlike virtually everyone around her, with their implanted filters. Nate himself wore no mask, having stopped breathing long ago.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Many people loved the movie Black Panther in no small part due to the performance of Chadwick Boseman. From his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War, through his own film, the Avengers films, and the upcoming What If? Series on Disney +, Boseman owned the role. Not only was he an excellent actor, he also had the look and the presence to carry the role as the King of Wakanda and superhero Avenger.

Rhodri
This comes from my journal for the solo RPG Ironsworn and tells the tale of my character, Rhodri. As such, it is not presented as a typical story, but more as a narrative of events during a play session. (Game moves, results, and random decisions generated by oracles within the game will be listed in brackets.) Actions (called Moves) are resolved by rolling 3 dice: one 6-sided and two 10-sided.

I Could Have Died
We've all had experiences where we "could have died" of embarrassment. Some of us have had many. Often they are silly little moments that pass from memory after a short period. Other times, they can stick with us for months or even years. Sometimes, we continue to feel the embarrassment each time we revisit the event in our memories. Much of the time, there’s no great lesson to be learned from these events, but sometimes...

Inappropriately Happy
We have all had moments when we have said or done something that we look back on later and hang our heads in shame or embarrassment. Like the time in grade 8 when we were doing gymnastics in phys ed and I-- a skinny, not-too-coordinated kid-- was waiting in line with the other kids for my turn to run up to the box horse and use a springboard to bounce over it. For some reason that eludes me, I decided that I would really go for it, putting all my effort into it and vaulting through the air like Spider-Man.

My Iron Vow
I have always loved writing!" says pretty much everyone here. It's no less true for me. I was one of those kids who often enjoyed writing stories as much as, if not more than, watching TV or going outside to play with my friends. It was fun and enjoyable, and occasionally offered a release from pent-up feelings that I didn't want to express elsewhere. It was also one of the few things that I felt I did reasonably well.

Why Do We Write?
Why Do We Write? If I was to say that I love writing and have been doing it all my life, I would not be any different from anyone else here on Vocal. I am pretty sure that everyone here has that same love and most have either been writing all their lives, or hoping to write. There’s nothing different about me, nothing special. I am just one more writer on a platform full of writers.
