Conflict Is Growth in Disguise
About six hours after the above picture was taken, my partner and I had a 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 spat. Not full-blown screaming with pots and pans being thrown, but it was enough of an argument for me to retreat, shut down, and wonder how we got so low, after a highly positive afternoon.

Things I Wish I Knew Before Entering a Long Distance Relationship
My boyfriend and I had a whirlwind, slightly too cheesy start to our relationship. We met during a year of being au pairs in Paris (how typical, right?) and proceeded to fall in love and spend every moment that we had outside of school runs and dinner preparation together, basking in this fresh, exotic love.
