They Weep Instead...
If Walls Could Talk, Would We Want To Hear What They Have To Say? As history has been told, and wall after wall began to unfold, we have become knowledgeable about the stories of humans… building walls, climbing the walls and breaking through walls - around our planet. In pursuit of dreams, privilege and power or personal desires to achieve something beyond THE WALL itself. Inner walls, outer walls, walls that protect countries or stand upon the foundations of our homes - they all have a story that is told in a language of their own - weeping through the cracks they reveal much.

All About My "Baby Sister"...
She was the love of my little life, the apple of my eye and the beat of my heart. I fell in love from the moment I spotted her tiny little body curled up in a small basket on a cushion. She was cuddled up next to about 5 other pups, undoubtedly her siblings, licking her lips…apparently looking for a meal. Shortly after bringing her home, I had my leg broken in a car accident. My "baby sister" Tracy was there to cheer me up as I stayed home from school for 3 weeks. She cheered me up when I was sad, entertained me when I was bored and continuously licked my face to show me that she loved me.

Superior Light
As 'Superior Light' shined directly upon Divoc, he could feel his strength weakening. Shielding himself from the brightest rays of darkness, he couldn’t help but wonder if this is how his glorious reign would end. Divoc had conquered the world just 180 years prior, changing the name of this once human dominated civilization to planet “Thrae Divoc-X.”

Life Outside Of The Box
As 19 year old Rolly sat staring blankly at the brown paper box, scenes from her life were flashing before her like giant waves lashing out from the ocean. Before now, her memories had seemed to be such a blur. Nothing was clear enough to be put into any type of sequential order in her mind. Events just seemed to happen, days seemed to just come and go. Every moment was just like the last, no hours passed, time just stood still while life kept happening. Now, random memories kept popping up into blank spaces inside of her head, like Jack-In-the-box of sorts. She had become so accustomed to tuning out, taking her mind to some faraway place outside of her body. The mental disconnect that Rolly experienced for almost 16 years of her life was so deep that reality was no longer real.

The Same But Different
The year was 1982 … For approximately 2 years, I had been begging my mom and dad to take me on an overseas trip. Ever since I learned that there were other countries outside of America where people spoke different languages, ate different food and wore clothing that were culturally unique to their ethnicity and/or nationality, I became curious. I wanted to know more about the people around the globe.

Motivating the Masses
What I am most passionate about is enhancing the lives of others. From as far back as I can remember, I have been able to find joy and fulfillment at the thought of making the world a better place and springing in to action by making the first move within my own small community circle. Whether it is by simply putting a smile on someone’s face with a joke or lightening a tense moment with a hug or a few words of encouragement, motivating others has been my passion for decades. As a child, I remember the moments that I stole the show as the center of attention, they were all about the happy responses that I had the ability to draw from others. The gift of excitement about life and a personality that inspires those that I come in contact with ultimately became my purpose. I truly believe that if the creator blessed me with a gift to shine a bright light to take away someone’s darkness then therein lies my purpose in the world.

Oh Harem Pants, Where Art Thou?
Call me old fashion, call me "hippy-ish" or call me homely, but when I tell you the feeling of confidence, comfort and sweet "swagg" that overcomes me when wearing a good old fashioned pair of harem pants is more valuable than anyone's opinion about them. I have always been a comfort girl, but I also like to feel feminine and pretty. In my opinion, these are some of the most girly, stylish and cool pants that have ever existed.

The Fish and The Ram
My entire life I have been trying to figure out which of my zodiac traits were more dominant, exactly where do I fit in? As a teenager, I always seemed to feel torn between the two signs, claiming both but finding it hard to be loyal to either one. Being born on the cusp isn't easy. My Pisces friends never seemed to understand why I was quick to point out that I was born on the cusp. "You're either Pisces or Aries" they say..."simply choose." It's not that simple, how do I choose between the best parts of who I am?
