I’ve Never Met Anyone Quite Like You
“Phenomenal” - ★★★★ Queer stories are finally being told at an increased rate. More films, tv shows and theatre are producing stories based on LGBTQ+ issues that are an essential lifeline for queer people to watch, be involved in, relate to, highlight issues the community faces, and provide a safe space where there otherwise may not be one. The Edinburgh Fringe has for many years now been a safe space for shows on a whole host of different cultures, and a place for the LGBTQ+ community to provide accessible productions for the mixing bowl of different people that make up our society.

Depression
Dear Depression, I think you are getting the best of me. I don’t feel sad or distraught, depression, like they do in all the movies. I feel empty. You know that moment in an old cartoon where the inside of the characters body gets a hole shot through it. It’s silly, but that‘s how it feels. Empty.

The Night Conceals MeTop Story - January 2022
I should be sleeping. I should definitely be sleeping. But thoughts are always loudest at night time. There is no background noise, no hums, no ticks, no tv's or radios, no chirps, chimes or jingles; no noise that can cover up the internal monologue as it screams from the chasm within. But the biggest thought, coming from some crevice near the front of my brain, I summised somehow, was that the alarm I had set only two hours earlier would be ringing loudly in only another four.

The Proudest Playlist
It's pride month and I couldn't be happier... or prouder. After a year which has on a global level changed our lives and perspectives, it has never been more important to come together as one and celebrate and hug our friends and family, spend time with them, re-connect.
