A fitness professional is what? Your main duties as a fitness professional will be to instruct, educate, and provide personal training in health and fitness. You might work as a personal trainer, a group exercise instructor, a health and wellness expert, and more. You instruct a group of pupils as a group trainer in a certain exercise method. As a personal trainer, you can also decide to work one-on-one or in small groups to best serve your clients' individual needs. Teaching safe exercise skills is the main responsibility of anyone working in any of these sectors, but the day-to-day responsibilities might vary greatly from position to position. In order to motivate others and effectively explain how to utilize any equipment, you need great communication skills.
