Trapped in What No longer Is
I have never been good at detaching from the past, it likes to follow me. Questions that I left open come back to me whispering the sound of answers that I never really wanted to hear. Parts of me that I never wanted to confront. And here lies the inner contradiction: I am addicted to what I'm running away from. Does it make sense? Not quite, but feelings rarely do.

The Aliveness of It All
I’m gone, from this place and from myself. I still feel the energy from my surroundings, but it comes to me in a different way. My eyes sucked up by the infinity that awaits at the other side of the window. The unknown alluring them with a subtle, almost imperceptible, ancient spell. A remembrance of another life or perhaps, another self.

A Brief Story About Depression
I found myself a thousand times wondering: Where is the way out? How can I make this stop? This pain, this confusion, this constant feeling of piercing isolation. Show me the door. I will cross it. I will walk through it and let the numbness eat me up. Let it have a taste of this. I may not be sweet but I will make its insides shiver.
