C Jyl Parker
Bio
Starting from the fairy stories and poems of childhood, I've always had an interest in the fantasy, adventure and science fiction worlds. Although I've done a lot of writing over the years, I've published only a few short stories and poems.

Moonlight
Moonlight By C Jyl Parker The mirror showed a reflection that wasn’t my own. In fact, at first there was no one in the mirror, only shadows of a different room. How could that be? And where was my face, my yellow hair pulled back in a ponytail, my nightshirt? How did I get here? Was I dreaming? I stood in front of the large, oval mirror, my hands gripping either side of the carved wooden frame. I wanted to step back, to release the death-grip of my hands, but I couldn’t move. I thought back to what I last remembered.
