A Witch's Secret
"Bind my blood within this body of twine, and bring sensation to him oh, so fine. Our lives will be in careful line, but in due time, he will be mine." A small trickle of blood fell from Mistress Evelyn, Mistress of Coven for young witches with no place in the world. She smeared the blood over the doll's head and heart as she took a normal, white candle stick and lit the doll on fire, igniting passion and love that shall be burned into the soul and mind.

I Am Perfect Enough
What are books? To a reader’s definition, it is a portal to escape from reality and the troubles of our world. We could be the character, or an unknown side character watching the protagonist face their problems or fighting the dragon in the fantasy world to save the princess and the kingdom.

Daddy's Girl - Chapter Two
“Thank you for your patience.” Andrew greeted Charles, who returned to his seat in the conference room. The rest of the executives have left the room, leaving only the guest and CEO alone in the giant meeting room. “I apologize for making you wait. There were many things to consider and discuss in regard to Heather. It is very clear that this is something that can be used in the medical field. As I am sure you are aware, there is a very high demand for nurses in the field and I would say this would be a great thing to consider having to aid those that struggle with difficult patients or filling the space for absent nurses.” Andrew listed the positives to Charles with promise, however, it’s not exactly what Charles wanted to hear first.

Daddy's Girl - Chapter One
Charles regretted not answering the phone. Charles Michaelson, Head Project Engineering Manager for a pharmaceutical company called Pharmacy Red, was sitting in an executive conference room with large window panels, blue carpeting, and a long, wooden table in the middle of the room; a typical corporate conference room. Charles was sitting alone on one side of the table while five directorial managers, all working for a medical machinery company - M&T Medical Supplies- were sitting across from Charles. Their ironed, wrinkle-free suits rival the singular man’s long-sleeved, buttoned-up slate shirt and black pants with the brown dressy shoes.

I Can't Skip These Songs
To tell you the truth - there would be no me without music. I think it is safe to say that music really does make me who I am today. You can ask my husband and my friends. If there was one word to describe what I love in the whole wide world other than the people (and pets) I love, it’s music. I played a card game a few years ago with some friends and the card asked, “Who is likely to pick or create a playlist when you are going on a road trip?” Immediately without any second thought, everyone placed their tokens on me.

Memory Of The Mirror
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn’t my own. The noises were buzzing in my ears, I had a hard time thinking. “What exactly happened?” I thought to myself as I witnessed the lights flickering, like in a suspenseful movie where the protagonist is about to uncover the murderer. The glass was shattered and out of proportion. While some smaller shards twinkled on the counter and in the bathroom sink, the big pieces were still intact. Yet, there was still something totally wrong with this scene. How exactly did I come to be in a stranger’s bathroom?

Scarlet, Witch of Lavender
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. For many eons, this phenomenon couldn’t be explained, but to only accept it as part of every day life. Scarlet found this rather peculiar, even though she has gotten used to seeing the sight for many years. Her emerald eyes watched the clouds form out of nowhere and danced with the stars, lighting the darkness of the night sky away just for a brief moment. Scarlet was the daughter of a witch, Helenna, who provided services to those of the townsfolk on a small hillside by the beach in a small town in the state of Maine. Scarlet was fifteen years old and would hide one secret from her mother - she would speak with the Lavender Tribe. That’s what she called them, anyways.

Scarclaw
Scarclaw was a powerful, female dragon with black as-night scales, her wings consist of raven-like feathers and her underbelly shines in the color of a dark jade, with matching, spiky fringes on the top of her head. The tail was half as long as Scarclaw's body; it naturally waved slowly, almost mimicking an ocean. Her sharp claws could make a perfect cut to any tree in the forest. In her clamped jaws were what appeared to be deceased livestock or two, it was close to Scarclaw's feeding. Scarclaw could be mistaken as a flying obsidian gem, however, Scarclaw is only a night hunter, or nocturnal. She only traveled during the peak of the evening and is active through the night, disappearing without a trace in the day.
