Millions of people in the U.S. use a CPAP machine at night for the treatment of sleep apnea. The CPAP machine delivers a continuous stream on inward air pressure through a face mask to prevent the user's airways from closing. CPAP machines are supposed to prevent the various health risks associated with sleep apnea, such as high blood pressure and other cardiovascular problems. But last month the leading manufacturer of CPAP devices, Philips, revealed that its sleep apnea devices may been harming users and exposing them to carcinogenic chemicals.

Things You Should NOT Do: Do NOT leave the scene until police and other emergency responders arrive. If you want to be on the safe side, you should always call the police after an accident and stay at the scene until they arrive. Even if you are not seriously injured, you could potentially get in trouble for leaving the scene too early. Plus, you want to make sure that the police hear your side of the story. If the accident involves serious injury or death, you could actually face criminal charges for leaving the scene.

What Are the Rules for Medical Cannabis and Car Accidents?
From a young age we are taught, "don't drink and drive." So, it's generally understood that it's illegal to drive under the influence of alcohol and drugs. This includes marijuana and medical-grade cannabis. However, if you live in Vermont, Massachusetts, or any state that has made it legal to use cannabis for medical purposes, you might think that the traditional "under the influence" phrase doesn't apply. In fact, it's the contrary no state allows for medical marijuana permit patients to drive while under the influence of cannabis. These states believe that an impaired motorist is an unsafe driver, regardless of the reason for impairment.
