The 15 minutes that changed everything.
It was Sunday afternoon when I looked around my house and wondered first, how it got so messy and second, how I would ever clean it up. My two-year-old was at her aunt’s house and my very hard-working tax accountant husband was taking a much-needed nap. Our mess was not a result of anything but a lack of time, energy and strategy. I personally blamed myself thinking I am a terrible mother, wife and manager of our home. That is my job, I am parent who stays home with a toddler and manages the home. I should be good at this. I should have more control over this. I should, I should I should. That moment, instead of doing the dishes, I sat and cried. Then, I wished for a fairy godmother or godfather to wave their magic wand and save me from the mess.

100% is not necessary
I have worked with many people over the years who have avoided applying for a job because they didn’t feel they met 100% of the details in the job description. The problem was they knew they could do the job well and really wanted to do it, so the employer missed out on their application. Today’s post is going to be in a “Quick Tip” fashion so I can break a few things down. My goals is to help you feel better about the application process and applying for a job even if you don’t match 100% of the qualifications.

Follow Steve Martin's Advice. "Be so good they can't ignore you."
When I was in college, I used to call my brother every Sunday evening. We would talk about the week, things going on, classes, etc. He had graduated from college as was working for a .com company that was starting up. It was the year 2000. He would tell me about the platform and how they would be able to help models and agents. It sounded like a great idea. I didn’t understand anything he would tell me about the technology because it was hard to grasp. It was all so new and exciting.

How do I pick the "best" graduate school?
During a year like 2020, it is likely that we will reevaluate our lives. We might take a moment to figure out if what we are doing is working, and if not, what we might do to change that. Maybe circumstances forced us to make a change. Many have lost their jobs, many no longer have a place to live, or it’s possible that worst of all, we lost a loved one. It’s also possible that nothing changed your current situation, but you have decided that it’s time to go down a new path.
