Dear Grandpa's
Grandpa John of a Cardinal Dear Grandpa's Your memories are but focus to the lives yall lived through loving eyes. Gave wisdom gave love gave commitment gave rides. Showed me the way of the waters that I so truly enjoy. Gave me smiles gave me laughter gave me comfort growing up as a young boy. You both carried your ways from what we call now back in the days. One worked as a architect another at Frito lays. Yall where a blessing that so many people needed through there own walks of life. You all where never perfect but taught me how to carry and handle a Swiss Army knife. You both had struggles we all must face. You both showed light in any given place. Both where a style no one had or even perused. One of a kind men with amplitude. You showed me a line and a reel where the true therapy to relax the spirit of patients. Both gave strength in numbers but where no saints. Both died of cancer that was pain and reconcile. Both walked the line like Johnny Cash one step to a mile. Yall carried over the dreams of what you believed in at any giving moment. Yall stood tall even in danger yall owned it. You are in the hearts that you blessed along the way. Both had my middle name that I go by on here as my last name today. You are but many have and been a part of as grandpas from many different walks of life and ancestors and legends of the past. Both bring a smile even though can bring a deep voice when it comes to cast. Yall show signs from up above with a penny and a cardinal that I can still see today. With a message your still here as I pray. To keep living your walks of life in my own way to pass down to my own. For the needle in the cloth you both sown. To be what you want to be in any given path you take in this blessing we where giving a life to live and share. You both showed your heart and soul to bare. The hand and body that gave us a way to shine. Grandpa's your spirits are but only one of a kind. Keep showing me the signs of ever lasting love and shove me into the light. Cuz I must confess my struggles through day and night. Keep giving me comfort with your outlook. And I will keep on writing the pages to my book.
