This will now be written from Loki's point of view…… I have never seen mom so excited. She had a gleam in her eye and an extra pep in her step. This guy Kirt must be quite a catch to make mom this happy. I am also going to have a sister. Her name is Coco. I just know we are going to be the best of friends. She's small like me so I am sure we will get along great!
We all know how hard things have been for everyone during the pandemic. Unemployment is at a record high. Many families have had to resort to moving in with other family members or close friends to help each other make ends meet. The thought of having to swallow your pride and ask for help is tough. This will take the manliest of men to their knees. This is not easy for most women either; however, when push comes to shove one must look at the bigger picture. They must do what is best for all involved.
Back story: I was so lonely after my husband and I split up. After being married to someone for over 25 years, being by yourself is more than just a culture shock to the system. I went to stay in my best friend Jimmis' childhood home. The house was much bigger than I was accustomed to. After a few short weeks of getting settled in, the feeling of being in solitary confinement was more than anyone could bear. So I bit the bullet and decided to get a puppy. I did not care what type of dog he or she was. I just needed something or someone in my life and would never leave. Be loyal and faithful to only me. Luckily one of my dear friends came by one day with a surprise. As I looked in the box there was the most precious, adorable face I had ever seen. I immediately picked him up and knew he would be all I would need to make it through the day. As I held him his name just came to me. Loki! I will name you Loki, the God/Dog of tricks and mischief.
Beverlee Puckett THE GARDEN By Beverlee Puckett As I sink deep onto my California King size bed I gaze out the picture window to admire this Super Full Moon shining in all his glory. Usually I am in full swing preparing for my monthly full moon rituals and incantations to honor the Goddess her self for the ability to harvest the moons energy and will it to assist me in whatever intent my focus is on at the particular time; however, I can only think about how messed up my life has become. I can send blame in all different directions to so many people who has had a vast impact on my life. I then realize, as I begin to pull the covers slowly up around me, in the end it is my choice on how I handle each and every situation which occurs. Do I believe what I can only see? Whether I believe it or not believe what is truly going on does not matter. Your brain is so complexed. Your thoughts can become your reality. Your reality can become your thoughts. Eventually among the insanity a ugly monster with red glowing eyes will emerge.
