I have always used writing as a way to clear my head, clarify my vision, and put words to my feelings. In this new chapter of my life, I am focusing on adding “author“ to my resume. I am excited to have a platform to share my perceptions🙏

"Come rain, come sun, come snow, come hail; The postman will be there to deliver your mail!" This was the battle cry of the postal system when I was growing up. I'm talking about REAL mail, delivered to your house by a human being, who drove around in a special mail truck. Delivery of the mail was critical to how we lived our lives and the slogan of the postal system gave us confidence that we would receive our letters.

Pressing Matters
My excitement grows as I see the crimson colored liquid begin to ooze through the silky white bag. First it’s just a few slow drops scattered across the wax paper. Then the drops coalesce into puddles, then trickles, until there is a steady stream of nature pouring into my bowl.

Amazed at how the remarkable story had unfolded, she looked down at the card in her hand. It was a Hank Aaron baseball card inscribed, "To Sam, your store was a home run with me. I’ll try to hit one out of the park for you. All the best, Hammerin Hank. 1974”

Going Viral
This Corona virus 🦠 , aka the scary name covid19 has taken the global community by storm, or rather enveloped it in an all encompassing fear. When the first news reports began coming out of Wuhan China, the world looked on, rather uninvolved, as another virus seemed to be surfacing in a remote village. People shook their heads in sympathy to the sick and dying and went on with their day.
