The Nameless Town
November 2016, A woman by the name of Joanne Forester stays in a small coastal town close to the airport and conference center during a business trip. The first night she is there she checks into her small cottage on the beach. Joanne heads for a walk on the beach, its cool so she has it to herself. As she walks the sky darkens, the reflection on the water growing black. As the water and the sky above her darkens and swirls she feels her body, out of her control, walk her into the water. She never shows up to her meetings nor does she come home.

The Dark Trio {A Harry Potter Fanfiction}
Harry was sweet to Hagrid, he actually liked him more then he liked most people, however when Harry and Hagrid parted at King’s Cross, Harry felt like most of the kids there with their families and their happy goodbyes weren’t for him. Harry dragged his trunk aboard and found an empty compartment. About 5 minutes later the boy from the robes shop entered, the one with the blonde hair and the sharp nose. Harry slid himself into the corner of the compartment, pushing into the shadows as he often did. The blonde boy sat and slowly two larger boys entered and a girl with sharp facial features and dark hair. He learnt the boys were Crabbe and Goyle, and the girl was Pansy, the boy from the robe shop he knew was Draco Malfoy.

Can You Imagine?
Here I go, I tighten my laces, pull my coat closer to my body and tug my hat down tight. I look up at the mountain above me, it is so cold! I am ready for this adventure! Spot barks at my ankles also excited for the adventure, I never go anywhere without Spot! He is my companion, my sidekick, my best friend!

Montessori Education, what is it?
An ad came up in my searches for a Registered Early Childhood Educator in a small Montessori Preschool. What exactly is Montessori? I was 21, fresh out of school and had only the most basic of knowledge on the Montessori Philosophy. This small school with the daunting pedagogy that was all but foreign to me is now my school of 7 years and recently I became the school supervisor. One of my main roles in this school is providing tours for enquiring families and I get the question "What is Montessori?" a lot.
