Any short, inspirational stories you can share at morning meetings?
Story 1: A farmer rescued his wife from a flood, but his child was drowned. After the event, people are talking. Some say he is right, because the child can have another child, but the wife cannot die and come back to life. Some say he was wrong, because a wife may marry another, but the child cannot die and live again. I listened to people's comments, also feel confused difficult to decide: if only save one person, should save his wife, or save the child? So I went to see the farmer and asked him what he thought. "I don't think of anything," he replied. The flood hit and my wife passed me. I grabbed her and swam up the nearby hill. When I returned, the child had been washed away by the flood. On the way home, I pondered the farmer's words and said to myself: So it is called that there are many choices in life.
