The Collision
“Mom, I hate you and hope you go and burn in hell!” I scream. Slamming the door, I walk off, I felt drip upon drip on hit my head. Looking up, I see rain upon raindrop fall from the sky. I hear the front door open, then a splash on splash of steps hit the concrete. Turning around I come face to face with my mother.
Athena and Artemis
Here is how the story began…………………………………………………. Athena usually woke up just at the rise of dawn, to see the sunrise. It was the only thing she looked forward to, locked up in this cell tower, at least 75 feet above the ground, she thought.
The Creature
I woke up on a Saturday morning to an annoying text. Turning to face the wall, it dings again and again and again. So I turn off my phone falling asleep again. Dreaming peacefully I see a creature like no other. It’s yelling, shouting, and running towards me. Quickly I get up running, only to wake up to a shouting mother.
The Scar
‘The trickles of water fell at a rapid pace, as it broke the peacefulness of the crystal teal basin. This basin sat hidden behind the thickness of mossy Amazonian trees in the compact dense forest of South America. It’s home to the multitude of diverse beasts and creatures that live there. This basin sat hidden until a girl exploring this forest stumbled upon it exhausted from a long day of hiking.
The House
The nicked paint of a depressing pigeon blue and a crumbled mix of maroon and burgundy red bricks filled the girl’s eyesight. As her mother pulled into a cracked concrete driveway. The jingle of her mother’s key filled her left ear. As the unclicking of seat belt’s filled her right ear. Quickly exiting the car, a sense of fear and alertness entered her body. Yet the ebony of the night consumed both the girl and her mother.
