Outside the window, I stare into the deep darkness before me. The condensation coats the outside of the sturdy panes. A force of nature has just passed through. It has left the earth weeping and wailing. The tears from the sky fall gently onto the ground, wandering over branches and rooftops. It is quiet finally. Only the sound of the dripping precipitation remains.
So I recently became a dog mom to my fur baby Jazz. I love it. I to be able to rescue an animal and give him an entirely new life. One thing that's been a learning curve is being able to deal with Jazz's separation anxiety. When I first saw him at the shelter he clung to me. He wouldn't leave my side.
So you feel like your heart has been ripped up into a billion little pieces. I get it. Your emotions range from anger to complete and utter longing for that person.
Nothing stinks worse than a toxic friend. But how do you know that you have one?
You know what I mean... You just swiped right on the cutest guy on Tinder and you're meeting him tonight for drinks. Except you're probably unaware what he really wants. He wants to hit the jackpot, in terms of getting your clothes off and in your sheets (or back of his pickup truck in some cases).
