Bio
Well for starters, I’m a nurse so I see some pretty... interesting things on a daily, BUT those interesting events are inspiring. They’ve managed to change my thinking, and my perspective. I’m grateful for what it’s added to my art career.

Epstein Street
I live in an apartment off campus, but the campus is still close enough for me to walk to. It takes me less than five minutes. However, that means I always overestimate the amount of time I have to get to my first class. Today is no different. Class begins at 8:15am and what time do I leave? 8:15am. I shake my head at myself, grabbing my bag and my half-eaten hash brown.

Broken Records
Broken Records "Honey, I'm home!" Right, because we don't already know. Clearly, he thinks this is funny because he deposits that gut-derived laugh into the once blaring silence of the house: A house that everyone on the block is familiar with. But for the record, it's not funny. The front door flies open and streaks of light from the street-lamps hit his figure at angles that make him look like a swaying shadow in our doorway. Following, again, is that familiar low rumble of laughter that will always bring up memories of a childhood that no longer exists.

Therapist's Therapy (Part I)
I'm supposed to be seeing him every Wednesday at 4pm. "Consistency is vital," he'd say. Yet here I am, in his office waiting room, at noon on a Friday. Friday was better for me this week; I had things and appointments or whatever.

Mind Your Thoughts
So, I don't know if you've heard of it, but there's this thing called “sublicide.” Allow me to explain: In the wild, amongst animals, specifically birds, sublicide is a term used to describe the brutal murder of a sibling, for the sole purpose of simply surviving. If there are less mouths to feed, the surviving mouth gets fed more, obviously.
