"Writing is a passion I do not think one can ever forget and I never have. Much like the groves I love, I love the rows of books in a library, each growing minds like something that can happen only with time." -AFS

Day 365
march 5th, 2021- Bonnie, here again, I know normally I write in you at the end of the day, to tell you about all the "wonders" that have happened but today will be like any other day... Lets just get this entry over with... I know assumptions are not the right path to be on but writing the same things day in and day out is starting to seem pointless. This diary seems to of kept me sane thus far, but its helpful effects seem to be wearing off.

Artist
"Somewhere over the rainbow is a land where the dreams you dare to dream do come true. "- Wizard of Oz Born an artist, from as far back as I can remember I have been creative. Often my school assignments would be covered in pictures with a teacher never needing to find my name because the work stuck out like a sore thumb. In most classes this was almost like a deal we would make with each other, me and the teacher that is. Focusing on anything that was not project orientated was like reeling in a fish with a line that wasn't strong enough, a difficult task for even the most experienced teacher. So being able to draw at the same time as listening was very helpful. This was a deal mostly made in math classes because I could find the art in almost any other. Yes graphs and geometry can be made beautiful, truly anything can be but in science, social studies, English, AT, Cultural arts, etcetera, it was much easier to find.

The Last Room
Men that would be entertained as her suiter would slowly try to mold her into the shape they wished for her instead of the one she was. Not understanding that Carmina was her own breed. Putting her into a box of any sort was like trying to get a colander to stay full of water or lighting a taper candle with the hopes the wax might not melt. Many people love a good challenge but one must recognize when one is futile.

Nostalgic
The wonders that were found in the wardrobe must now be hard to replace. From my sources I see many grownups look far and wide to replace what was once childhood wonder. Now their thoughts brimming with the horror seen on nightly news, or lived during some great sorrow. Most give up the idea that there will ever again be the feeling of joy brought by watching Harry Potter get his first letter to Hogwarts. As someone who loves magic and the wonders of "myth" it's obvious that many stopped looking for elves after the last lord of the rings movie. Yes, by adulthood most people seem to of given up watching movies that come from their own hearts interest. Eventually just giving in to watching whatever show on Tv or in theater that is most highly recommended by critics. No part of me is willing to say that this is the wrong way to find what show will steal your time but I think there might be a better way.

A late Christmas present
Every person knows of all the cute stories about the puppies or kittens wrapped nicely up for Christmas morning. For many this is the greatest holiday treat. Giant smiles are found on every child who receives a new animal as a gift. Normally the kid or kids have begged for months before hand. Maybe they saw the tiny kitten at the store or a cute new dog at a friend or families house. Whatever the reasoning there has been hundreds of pleases and promises by the children prior to the actual gift giving. New parents often make the mistake though that the child that still can't tie their laces or get themselves off to school, will take care of their own baby.

An Unlucky, Lucky day
Under the stars she prayed, next to the trees she hoped. Token just like her name was unfamiliar with normal. An artist her whole life from a poor up bringing. She genuinely believed in magic, but was still very much so a realist. See Token had what most people in her life had deemed reverse luck. If it was easy, it was most likely be hard or unlikely for her but if it was hard or unlikely, then it would come to Token like a fresh breeze on a spring day. Complication was something she often found ways to deal with easily.
