Whats in the Box?
No body remembers when it arrived. Jason Vankeep; standing at 5 foot 8 inches and weighing almost 300 pounds in full gear, had come back from a long patrol, several days after certain events took place, to find himself staring at a box that no one remembered delivering. The postal worker, his CO, the Air Force guys that helped deliver mail. None of them knew where it had come from. Setting down his helmet, Jason stared deeply into the brown cardboard, unsure of what to do next.

Times of Change Chapter 2
Elysi had left the Elder after listening with children of the Ruby, Saphire, Topaz and Emerald. Their small clan only had a few of the colors, with her being the only with Oynx, the color of storms. The color of saving her people. This scared her with good reason, because as the Elder had explained to the whole group two nights ago, Those From Beyond were already working on turning Elysi to their dark goals. They had been brought to being after one of the Amber had learned of murder, and taught it to the people. Those of the Amber were the soldiers of her people, with any born of that color immediately sent away to the camps.

Times of Change Chapter 1
"In the beginning... No thats too far back. There's no reason for you to hear how the world was made. How we KNOW it was made. Everyone knows that story like the back of their hand. What you may not know is how some of the beings were made. Humanity of course was sculpted from the finest granite, with the first men and women having beautiful gems for eyes before Jennowa gave them the first breath. Then the gems turned into the eyes you see around you today." The old man took a small puff from his pipe before setting it down. His own eyes of Topaz glittering in the firelight.
