A Jump Through Time.
What is this strange world? It is so familiar yet so foreign. It's as though things have sped up and people are living their lives faster and more openly. It is not a major change but enough to feel different. It feels as if I have taken a short trip to the future.

My Brother the Soldier.
I have never served in the Military. I am in my early 30's now and looking back, I am glad I didn't. Not everyone has what it takes. For those who do, the Military can be a great career. It can be used to set a foundation as an adult to build the rest of your life on. Skills learned in the Military can be a great asset to a soldiers life.

A New Life?..
As the new year starts, so due the resolutions. Some want to lose some weight, others may want to quit smoking or go to the gym more often. For me, this year(and many to follow hopefully), my resolution is to stay clean and sober. I am an addict. I was actively using opiates for almost a decade. At first, it is new and exciting and you can't get enough.

Happy Dog
This was a few weeks ago. I had just left a family BBQ. I made sure to grab as many left overs as I could (which I always do) and was driving home. I needed to stop at the store so I pulled into a corner store. As I was looking for a spot to park, I noticed a lady hanging halfway out of the large dumpster in the back. I have been homeless before so I could understand why she was doing it. I parked my car and went into the store. As I was leaving the store, I noticed the lady had a pet carrier that was in much better shape then the rest of her other items. And out of the carrier came a Pit Bull pup wagging his tail. He also had on a Superman sweater and looked in much better shape than his owner.
