it all begins with a tease of the senses the building of layers in moments that permeate thought like a dream before I rise

feed me lyrics in praline prose choking daydreams and dewdrops with silhouetted shades of aubergine induction, reduction, deduction
ethereal skies hold dreams of smooth cream skin and steel gray eyes looking to me...through me the liquid center
sunflowers taste like honeydew air and belly laughs like orange drops where tangerine sunrise turn burnt umber eyes into the elegance of dancing manatees
I don't miss you anymore the shadows are so engulfing that all I can do is throw words at them by the thousands
your words run up my thigh, thirsty imbibing cocktails through my skin ink swirls in perfectly penned paintings
pens and swords and time heals all but life isn't a sitcom that resolves in 24 and a half minutes the blood in my ink coagulates on regurgitated
severed my eyelids with bad timing and bladed questions facing memories of salt baths naked, skinned, and floundering
I can't...I tried but ink pours into the air never landing on paper and the calligraphy of your skin warps my lies in neon pink sunsets
they told me, it takes time... but there are no words strong enough to circumvent truth strong enough to break me into pieces
in the middle of my silent days you ran interference through thoughts whose only purpose was to run interference through
floating through cosmos electricity bouncing off thoughts like sing-a-long lyric balls poetically inclined to slice me open and surf
