Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Up until March 2023, I thought most of my bad days had been behind me. My parents were in their world when my siblings and I were growing up. I have one sister, her name is Faith. They could never really take care of Faith and me. I remember being small and them being in love, but never loving us. When I was younger, they were vigilant in taking care of us in a dutiful way. Making sure we had clothes, food and any necessities. As all kids do, we got older. At this time neglect and abuse became the forefront of our daily lives. My father worked a lot and was not around much. When he was, he did not know how to take care of us. This left my mother tasked with us 24/7 as she was a stay-at-home mom already with really no help. She often was unavailable emotionally or physically. There were times we would not be fed or bathed for multiple days, and when this was brought up, it was our fault. The same went for cleaning and household chores when we were old enough to force household chores. We could never have friends over because the living areas such as the dining room, kitchen, and living room were never picked up. Not from toys, but from clutter that was not our responsibility.

Sleepless in Solidarity
New year's resolutions have never been a big thing for my family or me. I get more happiness out of planning than I do the resolution itself which often makes me disappointed in myself later because I always quit. No matter the goal it always seems so unattainable even when it is a very simple resolution. I find that this is the issue for most adults juggling life which is even more so for people who have kids.

The Light of a Marigold
When the world was newly formed there were many small villages across the land as all the villages connected. Everyone was happy and had everything they needed. There was no need for money or coins as they traded and gathered together as a community. One day a god named Philosyonious was tired of watching them do the same routine day in and day out. Philosyonious knew he was not supposed to engage with the humans, but he took it upon himself to make a little mischief. He wanted to see what the humans would do if the community no longer had balance.

Breaking the Reputation
There are so many different hobbies all around the world. I love learning new things and experiencing things through the eyes of someone else. I have many hobbies, but the hobby that means the most is wolf and wolf-dog advocacy. Wolves get a pretty bad reputation in general due to the lack of information provided, even though wildlife conservationists have been diligent about stopping the bias. One of the most important parts of my life and these animals lives. Wolf dogs are very controversial and even illegal in some states in the U.S. including some countries around the world. I think if I were to pass up an opportunity to advocate for these animals to any audience, it would go against the point of advocacy. Wolves played a major role in the creation of wolf dogs, but they are different animals.
