Pearl of Blood
Everything was silent in the room, none of the wall-to-wall computers and data monitors made a single hum. Amid the quiet steel room were three people, all in white coats with clipboards in hand. In front of them was a one-way mirror that divided the already small room. The three in white had their attention fixated on a slumped figure across from them on the other side of the glass. For a long few minutes, neither side moved. Finally, one of the white coats lifted a hand. In response, a very faint click was heard, barely on the edge of hearing.

Fate of the Blue Rose
Sleep had been hard to come by for the young girl. Every time she closed her eyes, it turned out to be the same dream. Always with a young boy, sometimes older, but always the same person. She didn’t know how she was so certain of that fact, but the strange boy was always familiar to her in those dreams. There were times she woke up crying, though over what, she could never recall.

Love's Illusion
The young boy opened his eyes, doing his best to fight sleep. It was just your typical day the morning everything changed for him. Just as the teacher came into the classroom, a young girl stepped in clearly shy from the nervous fidgeting she was doing waiting to be introduced. Now, the young boy had heard of something called “Love at first sight”, but he had never really believed in it, writing it off as something stories liked to use to give young girls and women a chance to dream of a fantasy love. That skepticism was thrown out the window when the young girl was brought in as their new classmate. The teacher instructed her to sit in the lone empty chair, a couple of seats in front of where he was only adding to his excitement.
