Pregnancy is a beautiful journey!
Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but it also comes with it's struggles! I am currently 24 weeks pregnant as of this Sunday and let me tell you, this pregnancy has been a bit rough. This is my third child, but it's been a minute since I have been pregnant and had a baby! I have a 16 and 12 year old. My daughter just turned 12 in July, so it's been 12 years since I have had a baby. The struggle this time around has been real!

Dear World.
Dear World, It has been far to long since I last wrote to you. Life as we know it has changed so drastically since this year started. 2020 was supposed to the "THE YEAR!" Well let me tell you what a start to "THE YEAR" it has been. It is definitely the year.. but it's definitely lacking some serious positivity and happiness.

Leaving an abusive relationship is easy.
I was smitten and in love. I should have seen the signs, but I was so attracted to him, I wanted him and I ignored the signs. Little did I know that I'd go though so much abuse and hell over the next 3 years of my life from 2002/2003 to 2006ish. As time progressed, he started to get violent. I can't remember everything in exact order but I remember all of the shit he put me through.

Why I Decided to Change Careers
If you asked me a year ago if I still enjoyed my current job, I would have told you "NO." For the past eight years (since April 2011), I have been an Early Childhood Educator. Since starting my career as an ECE, I have worked in three different centres. The first one was in a big centre inside of a school, the second one started out in basement suites and eventually moved into a residential commercial space. My last daycare was in a house where I worked mostly by myself.

The Value of Time
I'm a little bit frustrated these days and one thing in particular that I'd like to share. I am an Early Childhood Educator and I have started making felt stories as a side business to earn some extra income. Making a felt story not only costs money to buy the supplies, but it takes up my time; as others who make felt stories as a side business can relate.
