The MCU Contract Situation: How Many Films Does Your Favourite Marvel Hero Have Left?
Here we are, well ensconced within Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the MCU continues to impress. Captain America: Civil War was, in my opinion, the best superhero film ever, so it is safe to say we are off to a good start. We're now 13 films in (I know, it really doesn't feel like it!), so I thought it might be good to have a look where we stand with regards to the actors' contract situation. It is well documented that each of the main stars signs multi-film deals, so 13 films in some are bound to be running out. Let's have a look at the state of play:

Steven Moffat to Step Down as 'Doctor Who' Showrunner
After six series 50% of the internet can rejoice - Steven Moffat is handing over the keys to the TARDIS! Yes, after Series 10, Moffat will step down and be replaced by Broadchurch writer, and massive Whovian, Chris Chibnall. The BBC has announced that Moffat's final series will be broadcast in the Spring of 2017, which means that there will only be one episode of Doctor Who broadcast this year - the annual Christmas Special.

A Bot Wrote a 'Scrubs' Episode Good Enough for Zach Braff to Call for a Reunion
Bill Lawrence's Scrubs was a hit with the fans when it was on the air from 2001 to 2010. A comedy with a heart, the show had the unique ability to make you laugh out loud and cry all within the same episode. Whether it was J.D.'s daydreaming, Dr. Cox's ranting or the Janitor's utter nonsense, there was a charm to each and every character, and their interactions made for an entertaining show. It's hard to believe that it's been eight years since J.D. walked out of Sacred Heart Hospital for the last time (let's pretend Season 9 didn't happen, okay?).

'The Flash': A New Detail Suggests a Connection Between Barry's Nonsensical Language and the Thinker
The Flash has returned to our screens as a much brighter and cheerier hero than the one who left us at the end of Season 3. After a six-month sojourn in the Speed Force, Barry has been reborn, faster and more powerful than ever.

'The Flash' Showrunner Explains Why the Show Abandoned Speedster Villains for Season 4
It's taken three seasons, but we'll finally be seeing a different kind of main villain on The Flash. Rather than simply a dark mirror of Barry Allen, Season 4 will pit him against the man with the fastest mind in the world: The Thinker. Clifford DeVoe will pose a threat that the Fastest Man Alive can't simply outrun, and the fans couldn't be happier about this revelation.

Geoff Johns Says Superman Won't Become a Nazi in DC Comics Rebirth
DC's Rebirth has been a tremendous success. The comic book reboot brought back a number of fan-favourite characters, while also breathing new life into DC's comic book sales with some excellent storytelling. All of this was overseen by DC Entertainment President, Geoff Johns, who described the event as "re-laying the groundwork for DC's future while celebrating the past and present. It's not about throwing anything away. It's quite the opposite."

You Can Thank Mark Ruffalo for Telling Us about That Epic MCU Photoshoot
It's well-known that Marvel goes to great lengths to try and keep their films a secret; stories have emerged over the years detailing the measures they have in place to make sure nothing leaks, no matter how small. None of the actors are given a full script (especially Tom Holland) and all of them are sworn to secrecy with regards to plot details.

'Supergirl' Adds Another DC Legacy Actor to Season 3
As the return of The CW's Arrowverse is swiftly approaching our screens, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl to fill our evenings with superhero action. A new season brings new stories to be told and new themes to be explored, and one of the key themes for Season 3 of Supergirl will be identity, which have both familiar and new faces doing some serious self-examination. The trailer has given us a glimpse of Kara's struggles with her double life and even features her proclaiming "Kara Danvers was a mistake."

The Arrowverse 'Crisis on Earth-X' Crossover Will Include Prometheus-X
After an alien invasion last year, The CW's Arrowverse will be crossing over again this year to do battle with doppelgängers from Earth-X. The Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl will do battle with their counterparts from a universe in which the Nazis won the Second World War. Not only that, they'll also have to deal with Earth-X versions of their villains too.

New 'Tomb Raider' Movie Rips Scenes Right out of the Game — But Do Fans Want an Exact Adaptation from It?
The first trailer for the rebooted Tomb Raider film certainly has people excited. Unlike Angelina Jolie's forays into adapting the beloved character, the latest trailer seems to show a faithful recreation of Square Enix's games.

Matthew Vaughn's Vision for 'Man Of Steel 2' Makes the Original Sound Like Bizarro World
From the polarizing Man of Steel to the universally acclaimed Wonder Woman, the DCEU has certainly been a mixed bag, with one of the biggest criticisms being the gloomy, brooding depiction of Superman. While he died in #BatmanVSuperman, we know that Kal-El makes an appearance in #JusticeLeague and there will be a sequel to #ManOfSteel coming afterwards.
