Going on a Berry Hunt
We're going on a BERRY HUNT! We're going to pick some big ones! What a beautiful day! We are excited! What would be better than to go on a berry hunt in the beautiful sunshine and crisp air foraging through the bushes to find bursts of bright berries sparkling like rubies in the earth. Then sink your teeth into a fresh strawberry and have the delicious juice melt in your mouth. Then why not go on a berry hunt with your family? If you are lucky enough to be an avid gardener you can make a game of it in the yard at home, if not don't despair you can visit a local berry farm and collect a bucketful of nature's treasures to eat.

Playground Etiquette
What is playground Etiquette? As an Early Childhood teacher on playground duty, I was a vigilant and keen supervisor of all the children playing. I would scan the playground for risks, injuries, and issues that developed in the children's play or unkind behavior and quickly help positively reinforce and resolve the problems.

B-Grade Christmas Movies are like Chicken Soup for my Soul!
I'm going to say it! I secretly love a good B-Grade Christmas Movie! It is like sipping a hot cup of tea on a rainy day or slipping into a lavender soak bubble bath and feeling your whole body unwind. There is something so unbelievably soothing and uplifting about these corny, predictable, happily-ever-after movies. It's like giving your soul a little pamper session with some positivity self-care.

Little Black Book
Thud! Crack! The turf flew like grenade shrapnel underneath the horse hooves as they bounded down the track. Emma’s heart was beating so loudly she didn’t hear the roar of the crowd as the horses stampeded towards the finish line. Lighting Blaze’s nostrils flared, and fire burnt in its eyes as it flew down the track with determination inching its way up the side. Closer and closer to the front. Emma held her breath as Lightning Blaze lurched forward to win the race!
