The Truth About My Vitiligo
I wanted to write something a bit more personal. One thing I've grown to dislike about social media, which I have found myself doing as well, is almost creating a smoke screen between myself and the realm of the internet, because I was scared to be vulnerable. I realised that although I was putting myself out there I wasn't really connecting with anyone. I don't really like that so I want to re-define my presence on the gram and everywhere else where I reside on the internet. And I'm starting with this blog.

Dating: To Cover or Not to Cover? Part 2
So I bet you guys are wondering whether I got a date or not, right? Well, sadly I didn't get a date... I got THREE!! *grins* If you read my first blog you know that I went in with a shield of questions, because I was determined to not only dispell this programming that has ruled my life for so long but to also raise awareness for Vitiligo. I knew that for some of those guys, I was going to be the first person they had ever spoken to who has Vitiligo so, of course, I had to do my part.

Dating: To Cover or Not to Cover?
Men. Boys. Males. The opposite sex. The other species. The toilet seat lifters. Whatever you may call them, they're a pretty vital part of life and I wanted to share some thoughts that ran into my mind the other day. Okay, so I show my Vitiligo now right (waahay!) and it's brilliant I've got my confidence back and I feel really great within myself. It was a mild Tuesday and I was staring at the television whilst daydreaming about Dean Thomas from Harry Potter when it dawned on me that I don't cover my vitiligo anymore. "Oh my god, I don't cover my Vitiligo anymore!" was the exact thought, and if I go on a date then the guy is obviously going to see it. Shortly after I also realised that this would be the first time I would be leading Vitiligo first on a date or when talking to a guy I was interested in.
