New Year's Intention
Wow! What a year 2021 was, right? We all know that 2021 was definitely a challenge for almost all of us. For myself, the intention word I gave myself for the year (instead of New Year's resolutions) was Love. I need to begin here with my word Love in order to bring in this year’s word, consistency.

Holiday Time Checkin'
At the beginning of every year, it seems we all choose to make resolutions. Some of us instead of making full-blown resolutions, choose to make one-word 'resolutions.' This was the case with me. See my story written here. What was my word? My word was 'Love.'

My Little Man Daymon
It has been 24 hours now since this little 4-month-old tan and black Chiweenie has entered what I call "the dog house." The dog house is a 2-story 200-year-old white farmhouse with a 6-foot chain-link fence that has tension wire all the way around. The yard has 3 sections which can be separated simply by closing the gates. There are two doors out the back porch or what was more commonly known as a 'mud room.'

My Little Man Daymon
One day I receive a call during what could be called my lunch hour. Being the owner-operator of a K-9 Bed & Breakfast and Doggie Daycare which was based upon and paid for rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of mostly domestic animals, there was not a lot of 'personal time;' however, that in itself was a big part of my personal transformation, time management; however, my personal transformation is another subject and for another time.

The Benefits of Wag Walking
You leave for your day with all intentions of making it back to care for your Animal Companion; however, the day takes another turn while you are away. It could be a list of numerous 'things.' What do you do? You know your "Buddy" needs to go potty, maybe go for a walk, needs to be fed, or even medication...

Napoleon and I
am the soundest sleeper ever, no really…I was married at one time and a tornado warning sounded. My husband attempted to wake me up to no avail, and carried me, asleep to the basement. When I woke up, I was sore and had quite a bruise on my right hip. He told me that he had dropped me getting me to the basement! No, I was not drunk.

Animal Companions
When I was a child I said I was going to be a Veterinarian and Psychologist. Well, I could barely pass Biology in high school because I refused to dissect a Frog...just for beginners. However, my love of Animals and behavior turned into rescuing hard to catch, abused, and neglected animals, rehabilitating and rehoming these Animals, (mostly Dogs, however, included Cats, Lizards, Birds, and more.)

Magic
So, imagine with me being told that you have 48 hours ....... You must leave by a certain date. You must re-home your Dog. Your vehicle is at the mechanic's shop awaiting parts, and awaiting, and awaiting, as if the parts are on a slow boat in the ocean somewhere. And you have tried every thing that you know to do, all the calls, flyers, postings and contacts that are possible in a town you barely know.
