Chinese design is most representative of the design of cultural relics and ancient architecture. The Palace Museum's cultural and creative products blend the wisdom of the ancients with modern life, launching a series of popular items.

A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains Cup

"A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains" is a masterpiece by a Northern Song Dynasty painter. The scroll depicts rolling mountains, boundless rivers, fishing villages, waterside pavilions, and terraces that harmonize with the surrounding landscape. It is majestic from afar and exquisite up close, a truly breathtaking work of art.

The cup has a pleasant green color and pouring hot water into the cup will create a landscape effect. It will make the drinking more enjoyable.

The Chenghua Doucai Chicken Cup

The Chenghua Doucai Chicken Cup is an artistic treasure among traditional Han Chinese ceramics, belonging to the imperial wine cups of the Chenghua Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. This chicken cup is highly praised for its novel shape, charming decoration, and exquisite craftsmanship, and is considered a typical example of Chenghua Doucai ware. Its body is pure white and delicate, thin and translucent, with a soft and lustrous white glaze, consistent throughout. The decoration on the cup wall complements its shape, appearing spacious yet harmonious. The painting uses underglaze blue and overglaze colors such as bright red, leaf green, aquamarine, goose yellow, ginger yellow, and black, employing techniques such as filling, overlaying, dyeing, and dotting. Underglaze blue outlines and washes are used for the rocks, bright red is used to cover the flowers, aquamarine for the leaves, goose yellow and ginger yellow are used to fill in the chicks, and red is used to dot the comb and wings, while green is used to dye the slope. The application of colors, varying in shade, achieves both elegance and vibrancy, capturing the essence of the color application techniques of the Five Dynasties painter Huang Quan's bird-and-flower paintings. The whole scene is full of life and captures the charm of sketching.

Cat Bookmarks

Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty loved cats and wrote many imperial poems about them. His palace also contained many cat-related objects, furnishings, and decorations. Centuries later, the Forbidden City still has many popular cats, and their photos have become the main feature of cultural and creative products such as "cat bookmarks."
