Honesty and genuine concern being misinterpreted because the worlds/situations around mostly everyone is usually hostile regardless of if the intention’ neutral/good, folly of being naive and kind even if aware of negative misperceptions in lots of interactions (and situations)
Anyones misperceptions of any action/language, does not validate abuse esp if not related to (relevant) situations
