The temples built by the rulers of Tamil Nadu are innumerable. Each of them has its own specialty. Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple, built in Madurai and consisting of three circles, has a special feature.

That is The womb of the Lord or Goddess has risen from the womb. Akbarpakiruga has the special name Moolathanam because Moolavar means Adiyana or the first.

The structures with high walls around the source are called Thiruchuttu. Most of the temples built in Tamil Nadu have three praharas called three circles.

The area between the first wall and the first wall is called the first prakaram, the area between the second wall and the second wall is called the second prakaram, the area between the third wall and the third wall is called the third prakaram, and the one outside the third wall is called the outer prakaram. Hindu philosophical texts refer to Aprakaras as Lokas .

The source from which the Lord arose is heaven . Next to Heaven is Devaloka. It is called Vibhavam because the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Uruthiran lives in that heavenly world . Next to Devaloka is Vyugam , where all Sivarasis live as a group or crowd , and outside this world is Antaryamithvam, where Bhootakas live as a group .

The One and Only Supreme Being in the heavens has manifested Himself as the Trinity in the Devalok, as all the Sivarasis in the Earth, and as the Bhootakas who live in groups in the outer world. The truth of the philosophy is that the Moola Parramperu, who has manifested Himself in many ways, is Archanamurthy , a stone in the Moolathana, and Aimbon, the Utsava Murthy, is a statue to be worshipped. Philosophical texts refer to the five Pancharatra philosophy namely Bharathuvam, Vibhavam, Vyugam, Antaryamithvam and Archai.

Its implication is that in order to realize this philosophy i.e. the truth, one should go to the temple daily and worship the Supreme Being who has arisen in the source and eventually attain the state of Paramukti (Paramukti). Philosophical texts highlight this feeling as self-awareness.

In order to gain the above self-awareness, the entrances of the three temples are displayed as stone sculptures. A symbol is also engraved on the first plinth of the temples. In the center of the symbols there is a point of origin, around it three rectangles one above the other, and lines pointing to the four directions of the earth, North, East, South, West.
