Hope, hope, hope
Hope, a fleeting dream we chase,
A mirage that vanishes in space,
A myth that whispers sweet delight,
But fades to dust in morning light.
It beckons us with promises grand,
But leaves us empty, lost in the land,
A cruel tease, a fleeting high,
A myth that dies, and leaves us to sigh
A flickering flame,
Luring hearts with gentle beams,
Then dies in ash and screams.
