You! I knew it was you! You’re obsessed with her too! With her supposed sins, with how the flames lick her hips as temptation once did.
Death loves and pulls at her. La Virgen holds her hand and shares her shawl. A brown hand reaches for her who is only so glad to be mistaken for a god.
A woman is framed for a woman is all she is, flawed and going to hell with a saint alongside her.
The snake wraps around her once again and she is not scared.
Blessed to witness, we defy and do not regret.
