It's October 1st.
It's true that I'm spooky all year round... I'm just a little bit extra in October... or maybe it's just a little bit more accepted this time of year. Either way, there isn't a single day in October that I'm not doing something completely out of the "ordinary". Whether its makeup looks, making decor for the house, or making some fun recipe with the kids. I started a day early and spent yesterday dressed up as a clown... for the whole day. I homeschooled the kids, took my dog out, cooked dinner, and cleaned house in full clown attire. People in my life are used to this by now... but we are in a new area and it's fun to be stopped in Walmart for photos with strangers.
This year, I think I've created an abomination... that I love. I have healed so much this year that I'm actually able to create things that are just for fun. It's been awhile since that's happened. Not everything has to "mean" something. Sometimes it's just fun to experience a piece of art that you wouldn't typically come across.
Fun fact about me, my first little spooky love is ghosts... but I'm also a little bit obsessed with zombies. Every time I see anything zombie related, I'm in. My husband and I have been watching all the spin offs of The Walking Dead lately. We talk often about what we would do or where we would go in the event of a zombie apocalypse (which honestly, I think I'd prefer over the rise of AI data centers... just saying).
The conversations are usually serious... what we would actually do. Where we would go. We have it all planned out. Not joking. But... also, that's my husband. Have you seen him?? I mean... come on. That man is a fucking smoke show. I'm constantly intimidated by how fine he is... so let's be realistic. If I knew I was about to die... I'm going out with a... bang.
I could write the lyrics here for you... but that would rob you of the pure, unadulterated psychic damage you're about to experience. And trust me... this is a one-of-a-kind biological hazard of a song. I wouldn't dare ruin that for you.
Also, I put in a ton of fun editing in here. I'm quite proud of it!
So, yeah... appreciate that!
You need to go in completely blind and unprepared and then leave questioning all the life choices that led you to this exact moment. You need to emerge on the other side of this track staring blankly at the wall and side eyeing your screen. That's the vibe I hope to leave you with today. Then you need to go find your own hot husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, life partner, emotional support person, friend with benefits, and ...go out with a spark.
No children allowed.
Wear headphones in public.
Or don't.
Infect the world with my zombie music.
