Dear Minister : A letter to one who holds great repute in God’s heart, a custodian of heaven’s meat.

What diet have you been feeding the "heavenlies"? For as the deer pants for the water brooks I stand in awe of the level of complacency and laxity amongst most so called "Gospel Music Ministers".

But for pride, Lucifer was pushed afar by Alpha, How far? Have your level of influence gone above the socials of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter? It's real thriller because O.M.G you still dwell within the lines of Man Of God, the likes and tweets, when the crowd sings your praise be careful, for so many have fallen from the platform of His grace having no trace, for the race is not how far your pace.

Guess what? You are mere bolt and not Usain Bolt for God uses you to tighten loosed hearts, but you’ve turned into a Mini-star and no longer a Minister. Congratulations! For the gifts of God are without repentance but the wisdom of Ahithophel became foolishness (2 Sam. 15:31).

Search the scriptures for souls ought to be saved when you minister, spirits should sprint when you split from songs to tongues; for your words are not mere dictions, for your dictions break addictions for they are creamed with the Holy Ghost and heavenly fragrance.

You wait for mere applause for your expertise and take selfies that’s selfish!! you're gradually becoming the star and master forgetting there is One who holds the star and owns the craft in which you draft be careful lest you become chaff!

What makes you a minister is not your voice but I guess it’s becoming the choice, the Holy spirit on your inside is what gives insight to the pew. Turn off the "stage lights" and you will be out of sight streaming in gross darkness because you think you’re flawless, having the frame of a sane but yet insane with praises that leads to fame guess you are on your journey to “project fame” but NO!

You are a project meant to bring fame to His name and that’s not the same, be careful lest you fall for when you crash, your splash will come in a flash.

Dear Minister, what inspires you? For the R&Bs and beats you bring in Church only end up drawing hearts far from the equator of their creator, let the world and worldly passions not be in your lyrics, for souls separated from the world you draw back to the world while you minister, it’s so bitter that you uncover covered wounds that you were meant to heal! Like you are iodine!

Draw the line between the world and His word because what the world calls groove we call fellowship and in this ship we have one fellow, the captain who waits to get tunes that will get him to fellowship with His sheep because we are the sheep of His pasture, so the pew needs to be fed green.

Dear minister, in you resides glory and this ambience should transcend mere platforms. Search for the ultimate let your hearts be burning, let your belly become bowels for which his melody will be birthed and nursed for out of your belly should flow rivers of living waters.

But with the seeming trends am tensed and perturbed to ask, why's the worldly beats, rhythms and sounds, lyrics and steps becoming a trend in Church? Where's the place of inspiration, the spirited songs that appeal to burdened members?

Are you a minister or a mini-star?

Yours Truly.
