Urban MBA Launches State-of-the-Art Coworking Space in Hackney

Urban MBA is a not-for-profit educational organisation that has been working hard over the past decade to ensure that disengaged and marginalised youths do not get left behind. Urban MBA is committed to identifying untapped potential and cultivating it through their free enterprise programmes and top-tier business courses.

Urban MBA exists to nurture raw talent and provide education that is relevant to today’s fast-paced technology, and so the course work is regularly updated in line with new developments. Beyond education, Urban MBA hopes to create lasting change for local London communities. Their goal is to spark positive transformations that reverberate beyond the classroom.

Bridging innovation and collaboration

At the end of 2023, Urban MBA reached a landmark milestone when they officially moved into their new premises in Hackney, London. Their new address on Wenlock Street has a large mandate as their new home.

The Urban MBA Ed-tech Business Hub comprises of 435 square metres which will act as their organisations head office and notably, their first coworking space. Officially opening in February 2024, Urban MBA Founder and CEO, Kofi Oppong, is a proponent for coworking spaces as an effective way to build your network, meet potential clients and build your database of reliable skilled freelancers. On top of these benefits, using a coworking space is an effective way to register a business address without the burden of a lease.

A tech-infused hub centred around entrepreneurial growth

Their space at 3 Wenlock Street has been transformed from open office space into a dynamic Tech Hub. Spread across two floors, the new HQ for Urban MBA boasts dedicated areas for podcasting, education and training, acceleration hubs, AI/VR (Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality) and coworking desks. The environment is designed to cater to a diverse range of skills and businesses.
