Recently, the Central Internet Information Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly issued the "key points of work on improving Digital Literacy and skills of the whole people in 2022" (hereinafter referred to as "work points"). The circular requires that we should persist in taking Xi Jinping's thinking on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era as the guidance, with the fundamental purpose of meeting the growing needs of the people for a better life, promoting people's all-round development, and the common prosperity of all the people. adhere to goal-oriented, problem-oriented, and result-oriented, take multiple measures to enhance the digital literacy and skills of the whole people, and greet the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements.

The main points of work clearly defines the work goal: by the end of 2022, positive progress will be made in improving the digital literacy and skills of the whole people, and a systematic work pattern will be basically established. The supply of digital resources has become richer, the national lifelong digital learning system has been initially built, the digital work ability of workers has been accelerated, the digital living standards of the people have been continuously improved, and the vitality of digital innovation has burst out one after another. the protection barrier for digital security has become more solid, the moral level of the rule of law in the digital society has been continuously improved, and the environment for the development of digital literacy and skills of the whole people has been continuously optimized. At the same time, the "key points of work" puts forward eight main indicators, such as the number of new resources of "quality courses in basic education", e-commerce training, aging of key websites and mobile applications and barrier-free transformation.

The "main points of work" has deployed 29 key tasks in 8 areas.
