I Lost My Phone for 24hrs and This Is What Scared Me
Last week, I was dashing with arms greedily full of cakes and sandwiches, having placed my phone into the hood of my buggy, collapsing the buggy and handing it to the driver to stick in his trunk.
Natalie LennardPublished 5 years ago in 01Looking into the Importance of Social Media Today for Increasing Traffic
The modern world of web is fast changing, and the devices that were used before are not used now. Similarly, the apps and tools that you used to have even a couple of years back in your mobile phones and computers are not used now.

In today’s society, we spend lots of time on social media, whether it be from our computers or mobile devices. We can instantly log into our social media profiles whether it be from home, in between two back to back classes, or during a brief lunch break at work. Whether you post often on social media platforms, or simply just read the posts of others, social media has a tendency to take up a lot of our free time. Sometimes, taking a break from it may be necessary.

After being laughed out of a team meeting at Microsoft for jumping on the latest social network, all I wanted to do was create content for it.
Liam KingswellPublished 5 years ago in 01Bebo & Beyond
If you were lucky enough to be a teen in the mid-two-thousands, then you'd most likely be aware of the absolute gem known to us as Bebo; the social network that captured the hearts of every emo, chav, and geek alike back in the day. And if not, well then you missed out on an incredible journey I must say.Bebo first launched in 2005 on web browsers as a basic social networking hub with a focal point aimed towards the tween generation and desperate kids looking for an output for their antics. A place at which they could unload all of their problems in ranty posts and vanity mirror selfies in hope of being seen or heard.Unlike anything we'd see on Facebook these days, Bebo wasn't at all afraid to go a little far fetched when it came to profile design and unorthodox methods for drawing in a crowd. With the ability to spice up your profile with special skin overlays or personalized theme tunes when clicking on your page, Bebo flicked formality out of the window and embraced everyone's inner child rather beautifully. There was a certain freedom a user could have with Bebo, and unlike today's social networks, Bebo allowed us almost free-reign over the majority of our page. From customizable modules to sparkling photo filters, unique soundtracks to artsy 'bricks' for your profile wall. Bebo had it all and more, and with a tweak or two, it was destined to make history in the eyes of every teenage kid from London to Toronto.
Why You Should Quit Social Media
Social media has been in our lives for quite some time, helping us make more money, communicate with each other, and do things faster. This explains why 77% of Americans have a social media profile. As the appeal for social media grows, skeptics of its benefits grow also; and why wouldn't they, as people who used to want to go off the grid are now posting their lives on Instagram? So, am I one of those skeptics who have no notifications on their phone? Yes. Before you make your assumptions about who typed this article, I am not some 50-year-old women with a blackberry; I'm the complete opposite, a teenager with an iPhone. A teenager with an iPhone who has spent a year off of social media and doesn't live under a rock. Yes, this teenager is telling you to quit social media.

If I had to choose my favorite social media site—besides Pinterest, which I don’t quite consider social media, but couldn’t live without—it’d be Instagram.

This is an article about all of the social networks out now. What will be next? I hope you all enjoy! There are so many social networks out there right now, and it is becoming too much of a hassle to have so many accounts in so many places at once, so what is the best social network out there that will help your business, blog, and help you keep in touch with your friends, family, and co-workers? Well my friend that’s when twitter comes in. Twitter is the best social networking spot on the internet right now, so for those of you who do not have a twitter, I suggest you get one.

I've noticed how much social media use has turned sour. When I created social media accounts back in high school, it was just plain fun. I would update people on what I was doing, thinking, eating, and posted a lot of pictures with my friends.
100+ Contemporary Figurative Artists on Instagram
I spend most of my day on social media working for a group of figurative artists who are constantly being banned because, many times, the nude comes into play into their paintings. Some of the artwork is so realistic that the bots can't tell the difference between a painting and a photograph. Figurative artwork varies from hyperrealism to abstracts. I don't blame the robots for thinking a painting by Anne-Christine Roda of a full frontal nude is not a photograph or a hyperrealism painting by Eloy Morales is not a real floating baby.
