Requirements for Linksys Velop App login

  • Linksys Velop App with the latest version
  • An iOS device with iOS version 11.4 or later
  • A server account or a cloud account for your Linksys Velop.

Directions for the Login

  1. Connect your Mobile device to the WIFI network of your Linksys Velop and launch the Linksys app.
  2. Tap on the pop-up "Manage Your WIFI" network.
  3. Now, you have to enter the account credentials for the Linksys server.
  4. Tap on the login button to log in locally. Next, tap on the Router Password.
  5. If you don't have a Linksys server cloud account, enter the required details (Username and password).
  6. Click on the option "Create an Account" and follow the on-screen instructions.
  7. Create your account. If you are operating on multiple networks, select a network to go ahead.
  8. If your Linksys Velop has not yet connected to your Linksys server account, you will receive prompts to add or set your Velop.
  9. Select the most desired option and follow on-screen instructions to link the additional nodes.
  10. After login and adding up the Velop nodes, you will be redirected to the Linksys Velop App dashboard.

After setup, your WIFI network name will appear on the menu list. In the device section, you will see the total number of client devices connected to the network.

Features that are only available with some Velop models, such as External Storage, Ethernet network, Guest Network, Network administration, Device Prioritization, advanced Settings, and much more can also be seen on the Linksys Velop App dashboard.

How to view the connected devices in your Network Using the Linksys Velop App?

Using the Linksys Velop App, you can access your home network without using any cable network or computing device. You can just perform the Linksys Velop app login process using a mobile device whether it is an iOS or an Android.

It enables you to change your network settings easily as compared to the Linksys Smart WIFI login and access from a regular web browser. The following article will provide you with a step by step guide to view all connected devices in your Linksys router login network using the Linksys app.

Step 1 :->

Open the dashboard of your mobile device and connect it to your router's Wi-Fi network then open the Linksys app.

Step 2: ->

Log in to your Linksys server account using the registered email address and password.

Step 3: ->

On the Dashboard of the Linksys Velop app, click on the menu icon given on the upper-left corner.

Step 4: ->

Tap on the option 'Devices' to see all the connected devices to your router.

NOTE: You can see each connected through Wi-Fi or Ethernet in the display. You can also see the wireless clients connected to the wireless band. To view the device information, just tap the name of your device.

Step 5: ->

Once you select the device option, you will be allowed to view more information about the client devices, such as the Wi-Fi Name (SSID), device name connected to the network, along with Device Prioritization, IP address, MAC address, Parental Controls status, and IPv6 address details.

Step 6: ->

You are now eligible to change the following settings by clicking on the specific options as given here:

  • Linksys Velop Device icon.
  • Name of your client device.
  • Device Prioritization features.
  • Parental Control feature
  • Reserve DHCP connection.
