Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a self-reliant global medical humanitarian organization, extends urgent aid to individuals impacted by armed strife, epidemics, healthcare marginalization, and natural calamities. The foundation extends support solely based on necessity, discarding considerations of race, creed, gender, or political alignment.

We are presently seeking candidates to fill the subsequent position:

Position Title: Data Entry Operator

Site: Mangu, Plateau

Engagement Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities

Execute all tasks associated with the input of medical data into the project's database, conforming to MSF guidelines while ensuring the confidentiality of information for dependable and up-to-date records.

Regularly input medical data (e.g., patient particulars, appointment dates, prescription details, viral load, etc.) into the mission's database, adhering to MSF protocols.

Participate in data aggregation from both MSF establishments and cooperating healthcare units.

Assist in tracing absent data elements.

Maintain and amend records of existing patients as needed.

Systematically back up all processed data.

Safeguard and uphold the upkeep of provided equipment and maintain an organized recording environment, with particular attention to patient files.

Promptly relay any data management concerns to superiors.

Prepare statistical reports as requested by the medical team.

Ensure, advocate, and sustain the confidentiality of all registered information.

Ensure punctual encoding of data into DHIS2.

Train and aid the medical team in DHIS2 operation and access.

Conduct timely analysis and compilation of data as may be directed by the supervisor.

Support the medical team and assure the completeness of medical registries.

Minimum Requirements

1.Completion of Secondary Education is obligatory.

2.Ability to grasp and use software for recording purposes (e.g., Fuchia, EpiInfo, etc.).

3.Fundamental computer literacy encompassing applications like Word and Excel.

4.Exemplary attributes include result-orientation, teamwork, dedication, adaptability, and service-mindedness.

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Accountabilities / Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list)

Supervising materials and goods orders and dispatch to ensure its rational use.

Receiving orders and deliveries, identifying and reporting potential discrepancies against cargo manifest or others. Stores materials in accordance with the system in force to ensure continuous availability.

Updating and/or creating stock cards for all stock items immediately after reception of goods. Checking the received cold boxes and controlling the cold chain-monitoring card.

Storing materials in accordance with the system in force to ensure continuous availability ensuring that all items are well organized and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).

Monitoring the store temperature and ensuring Cold Chain items are stored in an adequate temperature. Keeping a special control of “sensitive” goods: numbers of lots, expiry dates, packaging and special storage conditions.

Preparing orders on time before sending goods, and packs (according to transport means) weighing and labeling freight with corresponding shipping number, destination, number of shipping units, waybill number, weight, and mode of transport in accordance with the line manager’s instructions.

In conjunction with the line manager, performing physical stock counts in accordance with the frequency previously defined. Following up stock levels with regards to alarm thresholds, stock out and expiry dates.

Controlling warehouse limited access to authorized personnel and ensuring doors and other exits are secured. Immediately informing the line manager of any problems arising in the course of the work, particularly regarding damage, loss, attempted break-ins or theft in the warehouse.

Assisting the line manager with the preparation of the stock reports.

Share monthly reports to the end user and to update and inform the users about any defect in stock.

Prepare AMC and share with the stock owner to help avoid future rupture of items.

Ensure to inform the stock owner about of any expired items or about to expire to enable quick use or to be loaned.

Ensure inventory is done and proper recording of stock cards in place for easy access of stock.

Ensure that the stock received are well documented and communicated to the line manager as well as stock owners.

Ensure loading and offloading of good in accordance with MSF standard procedure to see that stock is well stored.

Provide support to the relevant stock owner during budget preparations with helpful information like product code and description and specification.

Requirements

Education: Desirable Secondary education or warehouse management-related studies.

Experience: At least a year of previous relevant professional experience with MSF or other NGOs is desirable.

Language: Fluent in reading and writing English. Any local language is desirable.

Knowledge: Basic mathematics and the use of measuring equipment is required. Computer literacy (word, excel) and the ability to do basic repairs is desirable.

Competencies: Behavioural Flexibility, results and quality orientation, teamwork and cooperation, stress management, service Orientation and commitment to humanitarian objectives and MSF Principles.

Remuneration

According to the MSF salary scale (Level 4) plus 13th-month allowance, equivalent to 1 month of gross salary.
