Search for astrologers is on the rise so are the new astrology websites and other social media handles for astrology news and articles. People from all age groups have started believing in astrology as it was never before because it gives them results with better future predictions. Astrology is all a matter of belief and trust of the native and what kind of a person you choose as an astrologer.

Here one significant factor is how to judge who is a good astrologer? The best thing is to use your own skills and wisdom in finding a good astrologer. My very upfront advice here is that we should focus on "who can be a good astrologer" and 'how to judge a good astrologer" than getting influenced by reading that so and so is the best Astrologer in India/USA/Canada or near you. If you fail to find a good astrologer, your subsequent reaction would be that Astrology is fake; astrology cannot help. You tend to become a non-believer in astrology.

Who can be a good astrologer?

An astrologer would be good if:

1. He/she knows how to co-relate the present horoscope with your past life. Horoscope as we know is the direct manifesto of our previous life(s) deeds (Karmas). An Astrologer not referring to past life with the planetary positions in your present life may not be good Astrologer. That is where Indian Vedic astrology differs from Western Astrology, which focuses only on future predictions. 

2. The Astrologer must know how to verify the accuracy of your birth details. One minute error in birth details can sometimes make the total predictions haywire. 3. Good Astrologer must have some essential qualifications, mainly with a mathematical background, as Astrology is all a subject of calculations. I mean, the good Astrologer must be an astrologer by design and not by default. Experience is a secondary element to support but not the essential quality of a good astrologer. 

4. Any good astrologer must refer to the relevant finer(divisional) charts and not only D1, the Lagna chart. D-1 Chart is only like an index of the book and not the detailed book.

How to find a good astrologer?

Once you have been able to understand who can be a good astrologer, don't worry who is the best Astrologer. Just extend your efforts and check the following parameters of the person who claims to be the best Astrologer. 

1. Does that Astrologer have any references on the third party sites or other social handles like newspapers, magazines? Anyone's person astrology website can say anything, but what I ask you to check is to authenticate the claims like Best Astrologer in India/USA/Delhi and like who is the best Astrologer near you or so and so is the best Astrologer. 

2. One should check if the Astrologer will do the analysis him/herself or there are juniors/assistant astrologers who would do it. All use softwares but how to use that software are the skills, and you need the expert to do it i.e. the main Astrologer. Mind you, this is a very tricky but most prudent point to check the genuineness of an astrologer.

3. One should check as to what people say about that good Astrologer. This is not the only criterion to depend on. But f the above points are checked by you thoroughly before this; one is likely to meet an astrologer who is a good astrologer.
