AGI is theoretical and doesn't currently exist. Achieving true general AI is a complex challenge and is still a subject of ongoing research and debate.

Machine Learning, in particular, has been instrumental in the recent progress of AI by enabling systems to learn from data and improve their performance without being explicitly programmed for every task.
