How AI will affect the mobile applications development and the user experience? By OM Software

We all know how does AI changes the future, but one of the most common questions is how AI can impact mobile app development.

Mobile applications and the user interface have completely improved over the last decade. Next, we used to have basic programs that didn't do much. Yet, in the last decade, with the Mobile boom, everything has changed. These smartphone applications all rely on your daily tasks, social media, and business strategy. All these provided us with a much-improved user experience. But there is a new technology that is transforming things slowly and gradually in the area, i.e., Artificial Intelligence ( AI).

Artificial Intelligence- what is this?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology in computer science that provides robots with the ability to behave and respond in a much more civilized way to commands. Since it adopts human logic and can benefit from past user feedback and experiences, AI can behave more humanely. In simpler terms, AI analyzes past interactions and then moves their solution to users who are best suited.

AI uses various techniques, such as machine learning, deep learning, to interpret knowledge, learn from it, and forecast the future. A new study proposed that by 2030, AI will add $15.7 trillion to the global economy. AI is developing and linking your home to AI-powered devices such as Alexa, smart TV, and much more.

Artificial Intelligence types

AI is a very contentious subject, and a lot of heated debates have been avoided. But AI is divided into four groups, generally speaking. These AIs are the sort of AI device you see today with sentient systems that do not yet exist. They are—

Form 1: Reactive Systems-

AI responds to the current scenario by considering all possible movements and choosing the best one available. Deep Blue, an IBM chess program that brought a massive defeat to the chess champion, Garry Kasparov, in the 1990s, is a prominent example of a reactive computer. Deep Blue analyzes and selects the most strategic movements to suit itself and its rivals. It can't store past interactions, though; another example of such reactive AI is Google's AlphaGO.

Form 2: Limited system memory-

These are AI devices that do all of the above stuff that the reactive computer does but store memory as well. These Ai's are used to make a forecast like shifting car lanes and more in self-driving cars that use historical observation. But the stored memories are minimal and not stored indefinitely.

Form 3: Mind theory -

It is a concept for psychology that suggests knowing the values, wishes, and intentions of those that influence one's choice. Such an AI will understand you and choose from that. As of now, such an AI does not exist.

Form 4: Self-awareness-

This is the type of AI that you see in movies of self-consciousness, self-awareness, emotional feelings towards others. Fortunately, we are still far from making this kind of AI.

How AI will change mobile app development?

AI would have an influence on every sector on Earth, including development, agriculture,

health programs, and more. Across many technical niches, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has achieved tremendous traction and acceptance. AI is a technology in computer science that helps computers to behave and react more humanely. AI is capable of executing human tasks by adopting human logic and learning from past encounters and interactions.

AI is being personalized and optimized for various sectors, from traditional chatbots and data processing to user interface designs.

Let's look at some of the crucial areas where AI has been so decisive, robust, and more noticeable in terms of the effect on mobile app development and user experience.

User engagement:

Owing to their lack of user engagement, most smartphone applications crash. To gain insight into the user, AI is currently being used to evaluate user behavior. AI can tell smartphone developers what users are searching for and how their apps are being used. Mobile developers can use this knowledge to make improvements for greater user engagement.

AI Apps for Self-Learning

You can especially see the effect of AI through self-learning apps on the development of mobile apps. As AI technology has become more advanced, knowing a customer's interaction and delivering what they would need without having a lot of on-screen tasks is no longer shocking for an app. Mobile applications with clever functionality and content have been more nuanced and substantial over the years. A certain degree of intuitive automation is therefore essential for seamless accessibility without much user effort.

AI helps to make a smarter choice:

AI can interpret vast pieces of data that can not be used by humans. Imagine that the input of users on the app is a vast amount of info. Technically, you should create a program for reading all those inputs. But by humanely interpreting them, AI can adjust the game and give developers a much better conclusion. This can be used to make a well-informed decision later on.

Personalization with AI:

A smartphone is now sold to each device as a customizable one. Most applications, though, are the same for all. On an individual basis, there's not much personalization. Flutter smartphone applications have recently improved the user experience by customizing their apps according to the customer. AI-first tracks user activity and modifies their app for a smoother experience or recommends improvements due to user use.

Mobile can effectively connect with users:

Mobile applications can connect with users on a deeper level as AI can process vast volumes of data. They can store the actions of their users and allow users greater power over themselves. Siri from Apple and Alexa from Amazon is also in the process of doing so. Stuff can just go ahead for AI from here.

Context-driven user interface:

A smartphone can detect your location, but it does not significantly alter the user experience. The AI-based algorithm will use the user position and then come up with user-centered messages and suggestions along with other critical aspects. For starters, your mobile AI will suggest applications that can help you if you are on a road trip or send a reminder that there is no fuel station in the next 100 odd km.

Conclusion:

AI's effect on the growth and user interface of mobile applications is huge. The incorporation of AI with the smartphone app, however, is still in the early stages. Here, there is a lot that can happen. Using AI, the whole user interface can be shaped and then used in multiple smartphone applications. We all have to see where AI can take advantage of user interface and mobile app growth. If you want your business to scale to heights, you might as well work with a developer who can help to find out how AI can impact mobile app development.
