Browser Extensions to Increase Productivity

Browser Extensions are small software programs or features that can help you extend some functionality of your web browser.

If you want to add some extra features to your browser you can do it by adding some useful extensions to it.

Here is the list of some of the good extensions that I personally use and find worth using them. They help a lot in increasing my productivity. I hope they might help you in the same way.

1)Adblock

AdBlock is a content filtering and ad-blocking browser extension.

We can see that nowadays many websites are full of advertisements that sometimes we get confused between the actual content of the website and advertisement.

So Adblock extension helps you filtering these advertisements by blocking them so that you can focus on the main contents of websites filtering out the non required advertisements.

2)Similar Sites

This extension helps users to find websites similar to those they are visiting.

Sometimes we find some websites very interesting regarding their content, structure, features, and service they provide.

So when you are curious about finding similar websites, this extension might reduce your search work and

help you by listing a number of similar sites in terms of content and services.

3)Pushbullet

If you have multiple devices and want to share files and links between them then this extension helps you do the same.

Only thing is that you have to install this application in the required devices and add pushbullet extension to your browser and sign in with your Gmail account.

Now you will be able to share the required files and URLs between your devices at a time.

Also, you can add your friends to the list if you want to share files with them too.

4)IDM Integration Module

This extension helps you in downloading the things from websites with better speed than that of your browser. But first, you need to install INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER (IDM) software to your computer. This extension allows you to transfer your downloads to the INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER (IDM) and download them with much-increased speed.

5)Win the Day

Win the Day is an extension that transforms your Chrome into a goal-setting tool, where you can set your goals and define your deadlines. Just enter the goal you want to reach, and its deadline (1-13 weeks). Within that big goal, you can set sub-goals, which you can then tackle on a daily basis.

Once you’ve set up everything, you’ll be able to track your progress for this big goal, as this extension will count down the days you have left to finish.
