These are a part of regular Halloween routine. If you want to truly entertain your friends on October 31 night, play the fun party games that we are going to recommend.

No matter what your age, there are certain games that bring out the kid in all of us.

1. Guess the name—another version of charade

• Write Halloween/horror based movie / TV series character's name and story on cards. For example: Jason from Friday the 13th.
• People take a card without looking at what is written on it and stick it to their forehead, being sure the writing is visible.
• People pair up and give two hints to each other about the character and movie on the card without saying the actual character or movie's name. For example, you can't use the words Friday, 13, or Jason. It's more fun if hints are creatively vague. If you want to make it challenging, you can limit the hint to a single word.
• Each person must try to guess the character and movie.

• From here you can do a few things like:

a) Each person who guesses right can go relax while everyone else continues to pair until everyone guesses correctly. OR

b) Each person who guesses right can grab another card and pair it with someone else.

2. Story

This game is best suited to groups of ten to twenty people. Start the story with a horror plot, and then have the second person pick up where you left off—and so on until everyone has had their turn. The last person should give a proper conclusion. This is something adults can do as well!

3. Word scramble

On cardboard or pieces of paper, write Halloween-related words. Leave a little space between each letter (as shown). Carefully cut out each word and put them in piles and mix them well. Divide your players into two teams. Ask the teams to rearrange the alphabets to get the right word.

3. Pop the balloons

I love balloons, but I hate blowing up them. That's where the fun starts—it's great to pop a balloon! The rules are simple: the person who can pop the most balloons with darts or pins within a set time limit wins at this Halloween party game.

4. Never Have I Ever

People often think of 'Never Have I Ever' as a game about revealing embarrassing secrets. But it can be used to get people talking about their Halloween experiences and learning more about one another's cultures, traditions and backgrounds. This is what this game is about, sharing strange experiences of Halloween.

5. Pumpkin Bowling

In this game, children line up to roll the pumpkin toward paper towels. The goal is for each player to knock down as many towels (and candy inside) as possible.
