Think about how many times you've wished you could speak another language. Or how many times your brain has been totally confused by the fact that two languages have completely different ways of saying the same thing. Well, we've got good news for you: there are apps out there that can help. Here's our list of the best language learning apps out there.

These are the top five language learning apps.

Duolingo: This app is completely free and has a huge number of languages to choose from, including: French, German, Spanish, Dutch and many more!

Memrise: Another great language learning app that’s also free for most languages you want to learn (you will have to pay for some, but not many). You can choose from 26 languages in total with this app!

Busuu: Busuu offers 13 different languages but it does have quite a lot of vocabulary included in each lesson which means you can learn quite quickly if you dedicate yourself to using their app regularly. There are also videos included so you can hear native speakers speaking the language as well as reading along with subtitles as well if needed. Again though - it costs money per month/year depending on how long your course lasts before being able to access all its content!

Babbel: Like busuu above but more expensive per month (£10-£15 depending on length). Offers 14 languages though which may be limiting depending on what kind of work/travel plans you have planned out in advance already...

Rosetta Stone: Rosetta Stone is a language learning app developed by Rosetta Stone Inc. It's best known for its audio-based language instruction.

Duolingo

Duolingo is a language learning app that has been around for a while, and it’s one of the most popular choices on the market. There are a lot of reasons why this app is so popular, but the biggest ones are its gamified approach to learning, community aspect and social aspect.

Duolingo has over 50 languages available on their platform which you can use to learn or improve your skills in any language you want. The app comes in two versions: free and paid (with ads). The paid version offers offline access as well as extra features, but it doesn’t take long before you start feeling like it isn’t worth paying for when there are other apps that offer similar services for free with no ads or limitations at all!

The interface of Duolingo is simple enough even if you don't know much about technology or how apps work - just click where you want to go! You start by choosing which language(s) you would like to learn (or perfect), then choose an activity within those categories such as speaking practiceesteacher-student interaction etc. I use this app the most and have made a lot of progress in my language learning journey.

Memrise

Memrise is a language learning app that uses a spaced repetition system to help you learn new words and vocabulary. It uses a flashcard system to help you learn words, so when you correctly remember one word in the deck, that word will be moved further back in your review queue. This ensures that you don't see words too often, but also ensures that they don't leave your memory either. Memrise has courses for many different languages including English, Spanish, German and more! The app also features courses on idioms as well as art history and economics for those interested in learning about other topics besides just languages! It also has a feature called learn with locals which I really enjoy. Though it does not comes in the free service and is also not available for all languages at the moment.

Busuu

Busuu is a free app that’s available on Android and iOS. It has a good selection of languages to choose from, including Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese. This is great if you want to learn a language for travel or just out of curiosity.

The social aspect of the app makes it easy for users to connect with other learners who have similar goals as them – whether that be talking about grammar lessons or practicing new vocabulary words together!

There is also Busuu Premium for more serious learning which offers more content, lessons and exercises. They also offer live 1 to 1 teaching sessions in their premium offering. The free version can be limiting for those who are absolute beginners.

Babbel

Babbel is one of the best language apps available. It's a subscription-based app that offers courses in 18 languages, and you can choose from over 400 lessons. The great thing about Babbel is that it's fun to use and allows you to learn at your own pace. In addition, it has a good feedback system so you can see how well you're doing as you go through the course. Babbel also has an excellent design for its mobile app, which makes learning even easier!

Rosetta Stone

Rosetta Stone is a language learning program that can be used on computers and mobile devices. It offers a variety of options, including subscription plans and one-time purchases. For those who want to try it out before spending money, there's also a free trial available.

Rosetta Stone has mobile apps for iOS devices, as well as Android devices (and Kindle Fire tablets). There are also desktop versions of the software available through Mac and Windows computers—and there's even an online version that allows you to practice on any device with an internet connection! In addition to these standard versions of Rosetta Stone software, there's also an app for Spanish speakers called "Aprendo."

Conclusion

Learning a new language can be an exciting experience, but it can also be frustrating and time-consuming. Thankfully, there are many apps out there that help you learn a new language in an efficient way that doesn’t feel like learning at all! I hope this article helped you in finding the perfect app for you. Happy learning!
