This is very important so that you can run your business as efficiently as possible. You have to understand your system processes in order to do this. Obtaining an online masters in systems engineering is one way to learn and understand more about systems processing if you want to become more educated. Understanding the three ways that can drastically slow down your computer is important. These three ways are:

  1. Disabling your Icons in the task-bar.
  2. Unchecking your startup items.
  3. Knowing the command to get to the startup menu.

These are the three things to be done to improve every computer that you have in your business. These are simple tasks anybody can perform to get the job done. You must implement this knowledge, otherwise knowing without doing will do you no good. Once you learn these tricks, you will be the master of the office.

Fascinating Tactics That Can Help Your Business

First and foremost let me explain how your machine is slowed down because of resources. On the bottom right of the screen, which is your task-bar, you have icons for applications that appear. Well for your PC, to boot up, it must go through all those applications before it can come up to the main screen of the GUI (Graphical User Interface). Another name for Operating System. When the machine boots up it must go through those programs before it can do anything. The reason it has to go through those applications is that when you click on them with your mouse they automatically come up. That is because they haven't been disabled. And that is why your resources are low on your PC. If you have 10 or 11 icons your resources are about 68 percent, but if you raise those resources, your machine will boot up faster, and it will raise the resources back up to about 92 percent. Big difference. Now let's get to the juicy stuff.

Becoming the Master of the Office

The first thing that must be done is you need to get to a command prompt. To do this, click on Windows, then go to applications, then go to command prompt, or you can press your Win + R on your keyboard, then type cmd. And now you should see a C:\Users\NAME. Now once you see this, you are on your way to the startup menu. Now you will type msconfig and press enter. Now the msconfig startup utility will show up on the front screen or GUI. You will see a bunch of tabs at the top. Choose the one that says Startup. Now you will see all of the check marks. Those are all of the processes your machine must go through before it can do anything. Uncheck the ones that appear to be for an application, but you may want to do some research.

Now if any of them appear to be a driver for a piece of hardware, I would leave it alone. Now after you have unchecked all of the ones, you are sure that you are on your way to raising your resources up, which will make your machine or PC boot up faster, and the response time will be better when you click on an application. Now you will uncheck normal startup and click on selective startup. Don't worry about what’s under it, and click OK, not apply. The system will restart.

In conclusion, applying these three ideas will help you to understand and improve your system processes. These changes will lead to a much more efficient and smoothly run business, which is never a bad thing. By making these simple changes, you will begin to save more time and money and a lot of headaches!
